Martin Custom Shop 00-28 Made in USA Serial Number 2608822 This is an interesting one from the Martin Guitars Custom Shop. The Wild Grain title comes from the exquisitely figured Indian rosewood used for the back and sides of this guitar although the spruce top is pretty special too! Plays beautifully with all the immediacy of a smaller guitar but still roars in the bass when you slip it into DADGAD or lower. The 24.9″ scale length and compact body make it a superb recording guitar too.
