Serial Number 93005 A Lovely Les Paul Custom that has been restored from various mods over the years back to original spec. Just been fully setup and playing & sounding fantastic, got a whole load of Mojo. Serial Number 93005 (very tricky to photograph) Made in USA stamped directly underneath, dating it to 1969. Original; Waffle Back Tuners, ’69 Pickups and surrounds, witch hat knobs and pointers, 3 way switch, scratchplate, back plates. The ABR is a new aged Gibson replacement as is the stop tailpiece and studs. Aged pup covers. NOS Sprague Black Beauty Capacitors with new CTS 500k pots. The guitar has been re-fretted at some point in its history, the binding nibs have been sanded back and binding is rounded off as well as tear out on the ebony board (as photographed). There are numerous little marks and dings from being played throughout its life but nothing that detracts from the great feel and playability this guitar has, all honest play wear.. Looking around online these ’69-71 Customs were gigged hard and this ones condition fares pretty well! Definitely one to try out and a guitar that can continue to gig hard! More photos on request.
