Built in China in 2021, this guitar features an all solid construction comprising a Solid Engelmann Spruce A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) top, Rosewood back and sides, 5ply Mahogany & Rosewood neck and a 20 fret Ebony fingerboard with matching bridge. A set of Gold sealed tuning machines are fitted along with a SRT Zero Impact Pickup. The 5ply Mahogany & Rosewood neck sits very comfortably in the hand, with a profile that could be described as a ‘C’, feeling slim in the hand and offering ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Ebony fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 15.75” radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface making both chordal and fingerpicking styles of playing a breeze. The LL body design fills the arms nicely, and provides a lively and responsive playing experience with a sound that can really be felt. The mixture of Solid Engelmann Spruce and Rosewood provides rich, warm, and responsive sounds, this with the modified non-scalloped bracing design retains the L series’ characteristic bright tone while enhancing low-end tone. Mild indentations are present to the rear face of the headstock. The front face demonstrates some light scratching under close inspection. Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates consistent light indentation throughout the register which can be felt slightly under the thumb. The bass side of the nut demonstrates some cracking to the binding with a moderate scratch to the finish beneath this. The satin finish to the rear of the neck has polished to a gloss finish, this is common with regular use on satin finishes. Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates multiple indentations, cracking the finish in places. All aspects of the body demonstrate consistent light to mild scratching and indentation throughout, most notably to the center of the rear consistent with buckle rash. Condition of Frets: The frets show moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is noticeable through the early register.
