The connection was a bit slow, but it's nothing to worry about.

Taylor 618e Gloss Natural 2013 Grand Orchestra

This guitar is a commission sale - if you have a high end guitar you are interested in selling, please contact us via our easy to find website - search: Sell Us Your Guitar. Here for sale we have a stunning Taylor 618e electro-acoustic guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Made in the USA in 2013, this guitar features an all-solid bolt-on construction comprising a Sitka Spruce top, Maple back and sides, Maple neck and 20 fret Ebony fingerboard with matching bridge. The body is double bound and features handsome multi-stripe purfling to the top, along with an attractive Abalone rosette. A set of Gold Gotoh 510 sealed tuning machines are fitted. along with Taylor's Expression System undersaddle piezo pickup and preamp system, with shoulder mounted controls for bass, treble and master volume. The Maple neck plays beautifully, with Taylor's neck profile providing a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The profile could perhaps be described as a fairly slim 'C' shape, which delivers plenty of character whilst remaining thin enough for fast articulate playing. The gloss finish to the rear assists with navigation of the 25.5" scale, whilst the fairly wide nut width at 1.776" ensures ample string spacing for accurate fretting. The Grand Orchestra body shape was new for Taylor in 2013 when this guitar was made, and whilst certainly large, remains comfortable and easily manageable in the arms. The acoustic voice of the Taylor 618e is quite surprising for a guitar so closely related to the jumbo. Of course, the large body delivers plenty of volume and a strong bass response. This is tempered however by the Maple back and sides. Renowned for its brightness, Maple works very well in this context because it balances so well with the prominent bass associated with large-body acoustics. There is also plenty of dynamic range on offer from the Sitka Spruce top, which projects fantastically whilst feeling sensitive to the player's touch. The Taylor Expression System faithfully conveys the acoustic voice of the instrument, providing the versatility required for both live and recording situations.
