This guitar features a Carved Ash top over a Mahogany body, a one-piece Maple neck with a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a LR Baggs tremolo bridge along with controls for volume, tone, a mode selector pot, a 5-way blade switch, and both analogue ¼” jack and digital outputs The Variax 700 plays well, its medium ‘C’ gloss neck feeling quick and easy in the hand and the rolled fret edges getting out of your way. The dual cutaway along with the tapered neck heel gives you loads of access to the upper register of the instrument. The medium frets feel solid, making bending easy without being oversized. Plenty of tones can be found with this guitar, the rear mode selector pot allowing you to jump between profiles of different classic guitars, with the blade selector switch adding some interesting voicing options. The Variax really comes into its own when paired with other Line 6 technology (not included), giving you endless options when it comes to on-board control and switching. Body: Overall very good condition, a chip to the finish is apparent to the front face treble side edge of the lower bout, revealing the wood beneath. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use.
