Here for sale we have a Yamaha Pacifica 611VFM in Translucent Black finish. Made in Indonesia in 2019, this instrument features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body with Maple Veneer top, Maple neck with a 22 Medium Jumbo fret Maple fingerboard. The guitar is equipped with a Wilkinson VS50-6 and a set of Grover Locking tuning machines. A Duncan SP90-1n pickup in the neck is paired with a Duncan Custom 5 humbucker in the bridge, these are wired to a 5-way blade selector, master volume and a master tone with a push​/​pull. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘C’ profile allowing for easy fretting in any register and providing ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 13.75” radius makes bending and vibrato techniques a breeze, whilst offering a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for quick lead lines. The Medium Jumbo frets enhance vibrato techniques at speed whilst the body contours and neck heel carve offer complete comfort in both seated and standing playing positions. Amplified, the Pacifica provides us with a rich tonal palette thanks to the combination of P90 and humbucker pickups. The P90 in the neck position is fantastic for sparkling clean sounds or those bluesy crunch tones. The humbucker in the bridge provides a thicker sound with more bite for your rock rhythm sounds. The Push​/​Pull allows you to access smooth single coil bridge sounds. Neck: Overall very good condition, a moderate indentation is apparent to the fingerboard bass side edge by the 3rd fret. This does not affect playability. Body: Overall very good condition, a moderate scratch is apparent running from between the control nobs down towards the bottom edge. This scratch pierces the finish in places. The bass side edge of the lower bout demonstrates a moderate indentation, cracking the finish. A small chip in the finish is apparent beside this, revealing a base coat of grey. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching visible under direct lighting. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
