These pickups, featuring old-school AlNiCo-V magnets with overwound coils and enamel wire, offer a versatile range of tones, from single-coil quack to warm and chunky humbucker sounds. The Swingster includes a Bigsby Licensed B30 with a “wire” handle, the preferred style of the legendary Chet Atkins. Additionally, a pinned Tune-o-Matic bridge with roller saddles ensures smooth tremolo operation, allowing for expressive playing without compromising tuning stability. The guitar is finished with Epiphone’s trademark multi-bound headstock featuring a classic mother-of-pearl “vine” inlay, Grover tuners, and a multi-bound, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, making the Emperor Swingster as visually striking as it is sonically impressive.
