At reSound, we aim to provide a smooth and trustworthy experience for buyers and sellers of quality pre-owned instruments and gear.

While each seller on reSound manages their own listings, we maintain clear platform-wide standards for delivery and returns in the event something goes wrong.

Delivery
Sellers on reSound set their own shipping terms, so please review the product listing for specific delivery details. Shipping times and fees vary based on the seller’s location and method of dispatch. Tracking information should be provided within 3 business days of your order.

While most sales are final, returns are accepted if an item is defective, damaged in transit, or materially not as described.

Return Window
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to report any issue and request a return.

At reSound, we connect musicians with quality pre-owned and new instruments and gear. Every item is listed by a verified seller and individually described.

While most sales are final, returns are accepted if an item is defective, damaged in transit, or materially not as described.

A return will be accepted only if:

  • The item is defective (not working as intended or significantly impaired in performance).
  • The item is returned in the same condition it was received.
  • The issue is reported within 14 days of delivery.

We do not accept returns for change of mind, compatibility, fit-for-purpose, or cosmetic reasons.

To qualify for a return: You must report the issue within 14 days of delivery

  • The item must be returned in the same condition it arrived
  • Returns must be shipped using a tracked postal method -Once approved, the seller will provide a valid UK return address
  • We do not accept returns for change of mind, fit-for-purpose, or compatibility issues.

Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges.

Refunds
Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

Once the returned item is received and verified, your refund will be processed within 7 business days.

Refunds may be adjusted if the item is incomplete or shows signs of use beyond its delivered condition.

How to Request a Return
Contact the Seller via reSound, including clear photos or videos and a brief description of the issue.

  • Wait for Approval — once confirmed, the seller will provide return instructions and the return address.
  • Return the Item using a tracked postal service.
  • Refund Issued — once received and verified, your refund will be processed within 7 business days.

Important Notes
Always review the seller's delivery and return policy before making a purchase.

Modifying an item or shipping it to a different address after receiving it will void reSound Buyer Protection.

Buyer Protection only applies to items reported within 14 days of delivery.
