How reSound protects sellers

All transactions are protected under the reSound Seller Protection Programme. Our platform ensures secure payment processing, safeguarding of the funds, guaranteeing that sellers receive funds safely. If disputes arise that cannot be resolved directly between the buyer and seller, our support team provides prompt, impartial assistance.

How it works

  • Sign Up: Create your seller account at no cost.
  • Payout setup: Ensure your bank details are set up so we can transfer the funds to you after every sale.
  • List your instruments: Upload details of your pre-owned or refurbished instruments and equipment, including high-quality images and detailed descriptions.   • Pre and Post sale support: Sellers are expected to offer pre-sale advice and post-sale support, building trust and ensuring buyers feel confident about their purchases.

After you sell an item

  • Shipping the item, package the item carefully Packaging is extremely important to ensure the buyer receives the item in the ‘as described’ condition. Use appropriate packing materials to protect your item from potential damage during transit.
  • Obtain a shipping label from your preferred courier and send tracking information to the buyer via reSound.
  • Mark the item as Shipped Update the order status on reSound to notify the buyer their item is on the way.
  • Delivery receipt You’ll receive a notification when the buyer marks the item as received.
  • Payout processing: Payouts are typically transferred immediately after delivery confirmation.
  • Communication Maintain open, timely communication with your buyers, especially regarding shipping updates or any potential issues.
  • Order Management Ship items within 3 business days of the sale.

Handling Returns

  • Clearly state your peturn policy, add your return policy in your Shop Policies section. Use reSound’s standard terms or create your own.
  • Return Shipping Costs, if an item was not as described or arrived damaged, the seller is responsible for return shipping. For preference-based returns (if the buyer changes their mind), the buyer typically covers return shipping costs.
