Here we have a players grade 1964 Fender Stratocaster. This guitar has been really well maintained and not only looks the part, plays extremely well also. Neck - The fretboard is in excellent condition. It has had a professional re-fret and the back of the neck has worn nicely. It has a medium "C" profile. Body - Original alder body refinished by Mike Smith guitars. This re-fin is excellent and is enhanced by the further relic'ing. There is a swimming pool route under the guard as the pickup cavity has been widened. Electronics - Correct dated, black bottom pickups. The neck and bridge have been rewound and the middle one has had a peel back repair. The control harness is a new one from Six String supplies made with high quality components. Hardware - Correct chrome Tuners - Correct Kluson Double Line The guitar comes with a Fender hardshell case.
