General Terms
At reSound, we aim to ensure a smooth and transparent experience for buyers and sellers.
However, each seller on reSound manages their own store, and policies may vary. Please always check the individual seller's delivery and return policy listed on their store page before making a purchase. Here are the general guidelines followed by most sellers on the platform.
Delivery
Sellers on reSound set their own shipping terms, so be sure to review these on the product listing. Shipping times and fees will vary depending on the seller’s location and shipping method. Tracking information should be provided by the seller within 3 business days of your order.
Returns
Return window: Refurbished, used, and vintage items may be eligible for return within 7 days of delivery. Please check the seller's return policy, as individual stores may offer different terms.
Condition: Items must be returned in their original, as-dispatched condition, with all original packaging, showing no signs of use or modification. Returns that do not meet this criterion may be denied.
Buyer Protection: If your item arrives damaged or not as described, report the issue to the seller or reSound within 7 days of delivery. If reported within this window, you are eligible for a return under reSound’s Buyer Protection policy. Returns requested outside this window are subject to the seller’s custom return policy.
Refunds
Full Refunds: For returns that meet the seller's return policy, you will receive a full refund via the original payment method once the item has been inspected and confirmed in its original condition.
Refund Timeline: Once the seller receives and inspects the returned item, refunds will typically be processed within 48 hours. You should see the funds in your account within 3-5 business days following that.
Shipping Costs
If the item is not as described or arrives damaged, and you report the issue within 7 days of delivery, the seller is responsible for covering return shipping costs.
Preference-Based Returns: If you decide to return an item for reasons unrelated to damage or inaccuracies in the listing (preference-based return), you may be responsible for covering the return shipping costs, and these returns are at the discretion of the seller.
How to Start a Return
- Contact the Seller: Message the seller directly via the reSound platform, providing photos and/or videos of any issues. Allow 24 hours for a response.
- Approval: Once the seller approves the return, confirm the correct return address with them and ship the item back.
- Refund: After the item is returned and inspected, your refund will be initiated within 48 hours.
If the seller is unresponsive or the issue is unresolved, contact reSound Support for assistance.
Important Notes
Always review the seller's delivery and return policy before making a purchase. For preference-based returns, some sellers may not accept returns at all, so it is essential to verify before buying. Modifying an item or shipping it to a different address after receiving it will void reSound Buyer Protection.
