Retailer Engagement Manager

reSound is London-based startup creating a curated online marketplace revolutionising the refurbished musical instruments and audio equipment industry. We are committed to sustainability, quality, and providing a seamless experience for both buyers and sellers. As we prepare for our launch in April 2024, we are seeking a Retailer and Brand Engagement Manager to join our team and drive success for UK-based professional sellers and manufacturers on our platform.

As the Retailer and Brand Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of UK-based professional sellers on reSound. You will work closely with retailers dealers, distributors, and brands to build, optimise, and promote their stores and products on our platform. Your primary goal will be to foster strong relationships with sellers, drive sales, and enhance the overall seller experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to engage and onboard UK-based professional sellers onto the reSound platform.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and brands, acting as the main point of contact for seller inquiries and support.
  • Collaborate with sellers to optimise their store profiles, product listings, and promotional efforts to maximise visibility and sales.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to sellers, offering best practices, training, and resources to help them succeed on the platform.
  • Monitor seller performance and provide regular performance reports and feedback to drive improvements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to ensure alignment on seller needs and platform enhancements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and seller feedback to continuously improve the seller experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail or e-commerce account management, preferably within the music or audio equipment industry.
  • Strong understanding of seller dynamics, online marketplaces, and e-commerce best practices.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with sellers at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive actionable insights.
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with a passion for driving seller success and delivering exceptional customer service.
