We love a guitar that's seen some action, and you can tell this 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom has been worked hard for the last few decades! Its had a few chops and changes to keep it in prime playing order; its had a refret, the original 'witch hats' have been replaced with speed knobs, strap buttons have been upgraded to strap locks, the neck pickup tone pot has been changed with a short shaft pot and the bridge pickup hot and ground wire has been extended to stop it pulling too tight in the cavity. All valuable work and expertly done! The pickups sound amazing and really come to life when a bit of distortion is introduced into the signal chain and the neck is a comfortable '59 profile. Finished in Ebony, its certainly got some play wear but that all just adds to the character!
