FENDER JEFF BECK SIGNATURE STRAT Vintage white with Fender gig bag This is from the last year of the version 1 production (originally released in ‘91 and updated 10 years later) Made in the USA 2000. These are pretty sought after and will only go up in value Great spec on this one ALDER BODY MAPLE NECK (1950’s U SHAPE, ITS BIG BUT NOT HUGE!) ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD SCHALLER LOCKING MACHINEHEADS 2 POINT TREM (THE SADDLES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO GRAPHTECH STRING SAVERS) A REPLACEMENT USA TREM ARM IS ON ORDER (STEVE DIDNT USE THE TREM ARM SO THE ORIGINAL ONE DISAPPEARED OVER THE YEARS) TBX TONE CONTROL FOR THE MIDDLE AND BRIDGE PICKUPS GOLD LACE SENSOR PICKUPS HSS CONFIGURATION WITH COIL TAP (BASICALLY IT IS 4 LACE SENSORS AND THE SWITCH TURNS OFF ONE OF THE PICKUPS IN THE BRIDGE POSITION) This guitar was the main gigging instrument of Steve J Curtis (our guitar video demonstrator) for 20 years and has been on thousands of gigs all over the world this is no case queen it has been played and loved (always the sign of a good guitar) a lot and as such carries the wear and dings but nothing major to worry about. It’s on its 3rd refret and now has a set of stainless steel frets installed both strap buttons have been moved, the original holes are visible over the years it has had 2 string trees fitted, the holes are visible on the headstock the vintage white colour has nicely yellowed over the years and has the usual discolouration over the forearm contour and on the back of the body the back of the neck has the usual lacquer cracking​/​chipping but nothing that impedes playability and has the expected various dings​/​marks. I mention all of the above to be totally open about the guitar but none of this takes away from what is a fantastic Strat that has tonnes of mojo and is exactly as you would expect from a guitar which has been gigged a lot for 20 years The original tweed case is long gone I’m afraid but it comes with a new Fender gig bag plus most pro gigging guitarists use gig bags rather than hard cases anyway these days. Just had a full setup with 9-46 strings and plays beautifully, is packed with great tones and looks superb. This will only go up in value so grab it while you can.
