This is a bit of a rare one. Made in the 90's - Fender produced a limited run of Fender 'Squier Series' Electric Guitars in their Ensenada, Mexico factory. Constructed from US made bodies and necks these are generally considered to be every bit as good as a standard Mexican Stratocaster with slightly cheaper Mexican and Eastern components, hence the ‘Squier Series’. Fender dropped the ‘Squier Series’ in the mid-90s as their Squier line of instruments manufactured in the far-East became more popular and people found the naming of these guitars confusing.
