Gibson Flying V Faded Cherry Made in USA Serial Number 029770326 The Faded version of the Flying V was billed as more affordable alternative to the gloss, nitro finished Flying Vs of the 2000s. Early examples feature an ebony fretboard with crescent moon inlays, but Gibson switched to a rosewood fretboard not long into the production run.
