Martin D45 2011 Made in the USA Serial Number #1456436 A great 2011 example of Martin’s flagship dreadnought in Indian Rosewood and Sitka spruce. This guitar has been played extensively and there is some finish wear and clouding as well as the odd little ding here and there but it’s nearly 15 years old and that’s what they’re made for right? This guitar has a beautiful voice – there’s something about played-in rosewood that edges closer to the fundamental of the note with age while still retaining a full and musical overtone spectrum. A powerful flat picker that woks well for fingerstyle too.
