Made in Korea, this guitar features a Solid Spruce top, Flamed Maple back and sides which are adorned with White​/​Black Binding, a Maple neck and a 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard with matching bridge. This guitar features a Takamine TK-40 Preamp System with onboard controls on the shoulder of the guitar. The Gloss finished Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a profile resembling a ‘D’ providing a thick enough hold to inspire confidence and feel dependable without being cumbersome. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant to the touch and the 20" radius feeling as flat and consistent as ever, fretting is a breezy and sumptuous affair in any register. The Jumbo body size feels great in both seated and standing positions, whilst the single-cutaway offers extended reach to the higher frets. This instrument voice is warm and detailed, with the Flamed Maple back and sides producing a loud and responsive midrange. The Solid Spruce top provides a balanced tone with plenty of low end power and warm detail. Some scuffing is visible which we have been unable to remove with regular cleaning. Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard. Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates a notable scratch to the bass side of the soundhole, piercing the finish. Light indentation, cracking the finish slightly, is apparent to the lower bout. The rear edge demonstrates a chip to the binding towards the heel of the neck. The finish connecting to the heel has cracked, this does not affect the structure of the instrument. The rear demonstrates some indentation and scratching consistent with buckle rash. There is some finish cracking directly beneath where the ball ends sit on the bridge due to a bridge re-glue. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (3​/​16" hex) not included.
