Built in China in 2024, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Laurel fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Nickel hardware including a Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Epiphone LockTone StopBar tailpiece along with a set of Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines. The Pickups are a pair of Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers, these are wired to a 3-way selector, bridge volume and tone and a neck volume and tone. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the 60s SlimTaper profile feeling slender, providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Laurel fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth playing surface for the user to explore, along with the 12” radius and Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, feeling sprightly on the shoulders with the 6 lbs weight. The double cutaways offer the user unobstructed access right up the register, allowing the user to make the most of this rock and roll classic. The Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. A small indentation is present to the end of the fingerboard where the neck and body meet, this does not affect the playability. Body: Overall excellent condition. All faces of the body display scratching and light haziness to the finish, this is most noticeable to the center and treble side of the rear face, also to the treble side edge lower bout. Light scuffing is present to the front face treble side horn. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability.
