Here for sale we have a Vintage ReIssued series V100 electric guitar in Silverburst finish. Made in China in 2020, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a 2-piece Mahogany body with Carved Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Wilkinson T-O-M style bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, as well as sealed tuning machines. A pair of Wilkinson humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the classic Vintage ‘soft C’ profile offering ergonomic thumb positioning and easy fretting up and down the neck. The medium frets and 12" radius provide a robust and smooth playing experience all across the fingerboard, and enhance string bending and vibrato techniques. The single cutaway body design allows the player to access the higher register with ease, allowing for fast lead lines without any obstruction. The Wilkinson humbucking pickups offer a full-bodied thick tone with plenty of warmth and roundness in the neck position. The middle position with its out of phase tone sounds punchy, with driving mids along with crisp and clear highs making for a unique and diverse tone. The bridge position provides open sustain and broad harmonic clarity, making chords sound crystalline and clear. The traditional twin humbucker wiring provides plenty of versatility without any complicated switching, making this instrument great for a wide range of musical settings. A very light indentation to the front face which does not pierce the finish is present by the 1st E tuner. Light to mild scratching of the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Neck: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching to the rear of the neck is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Very light scratching to the fingerboard is present at the treble side of the 14th fret. Body: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Any other markings are difficult to discern. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
