Here for sale we have an ESP LTD M200 in Urban Camo finish. Built in China in 2008, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, Maple neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Black Chrome hardware is fitted, including a Floyd Rose Other appointments include ESP sealed tuning machines and an ESP branded Floyd Rose special double locking tremolo system. The pickups in this guitar have been upgrade by a previous owner, with a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker in the bridge and a Wilkinson Humbucker in the neck. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and master volume and tone controls. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Slim 'D' profile allowing for easy fretting in any register and providing ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 13.7” radius offers a nicely flat playing surface which is practical for fast, technical playing styles whilst the X Jumbo frets make bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The generous double-cutaway body design ensures easy access to the upper register, further enhanced by the lightly sculpted neck heel. The pickups installed in this guitar deliver huge screaming tones that project a deep bass and punchy mids, as well as a searing bright treble to help you cut through the mix. The Wilkinson in the neck pickup produces a thick, rounded sound with plenty of power for your solos and lead lines. The Dimebucker in the bridge pickup is of course brighter, and with a higher output drives the front end of an amp into a beautifully saturated distortion. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your tone without being intrusive to the playing experience. The tip shows light indentations and a small chip to the front edge. Light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck displays light indentations consistent across the register, most notable of these can be seen behind the 5th fret where the indentation can be lightly felt under the thumb. Very light scratching to the fingerboard is consistent across the register. Glue residue is present at the 5th and 23rd fret which does not impact the playability of the instrument. Body: Overall good condition. At the bass side of the bridge pickup the camouflage finish has peeled away revealing the primer beneath. Glue residue is present around this marking, likely due to a repair attempted by the previous owner. Cracking and slight lifting of the camouflage finish is present at the treble side of the bridge pickup, with further light cracking at the bass side of the bridge cavity. Light scratching which has exposed the primer is present on the front face at the treble side lower bout close to the output jack. Around the front edge there are light to mild chips which expose the primer. The rear face shows light discoloration where liquids have been present. Further discolouration is present at the treble side waist on the side of the instrument, likely where a sticker has been present. A mild scuff can be seen at the bass side lower bout on the side of the instrument. A light finish crack is present at the bass side of the neck pocket which presents no structural concern. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. Not truss rod tool included (hex 4mm) Hardware: Overall good condition. The screws in the bridge and bridge pickup ring display noticeable oxidation but remain fully functional. All of the metal hardware displays scratching and tarnishing. The bridge humbucker displays moderate scratching and a small bit of glue residue. Tremolo arm not included. Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
