Made in China in 2011, this bass features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This bass is fitted with Chrome hardware including an individual four saddle bridge and sealed tuning machines. An ESP pickup is installed in the middle position. This is wired to a master volume and master tone. The Maple neck plays very well, with the ‘C’ profile feeling nicely slim and manageable in the hand, perfect for speedy, articulate playing along the 34" scale length. The Satin finish to the rear is pleasant to the touch and assists with smooth navigation of the 22 fret register, whilst the double cutaway body design and sculpted heel ensure uninhibited access to the upper frets. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and works in conjunction with the Extra Jumbo frets to deliver a rock solid playing experience in all registers. The ESP pickup installed in this guitar delivers a punchy, heavy low-end tone that makes a real impact in the mix. A detailed mid-range presence is well complemented by the rich, full low end, with a fast attack and treble response that keeps your bass right in the sweet-spot of the mix. All faces and edges of the headstock display light to mild indentations which have broken through the finish, this is most noticeable to the rear face. The front face display light scratching, this is common with satin finishes. Neck: Overall good condition. The rear of the neck displays indentations across the register, this is most noticeable behind the 4th and 15th frets, these can be felt under the fingers. A moderate indentation is present to the fingerboard at the 13th fret, this can be felt under the fingers. Body: Overall good condition. Moderate indentations that chip the finish exposing the wood beneath can be seen to the bass side horn and treble side lower bout edge, a previous owner has colored the wood with a pen. An indentation is present to the front face underneath the D string.All edges of the body displays indentations some of which expose the wood beneath. Finish cracking is present to either side of the neck pocket, these have been tested and pose no structural concerns. All faces of the body display light to mild scratching, the satin finish has been worn into a gloss finish due to regular past use. On the treble side edge near the input jack speckles of paint can be seen. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable.
