Wow - what a stone cold stunner. This 1978 Fender Precision bass has had one owner and seen some action, and despite some changes, has been cherished. Lovely natural finish with black pickguard and rosewood board really evokes that ‘70s era. At some point in the 1980s the bass was routed for an active preamp (as seen in photos), but was given a reprieve before it was too late. An EMG Geezer Butler pickup has been loaded which gives bright clank and dark lows. What is truly delightful is the original Fender case accompanied by the original hang-tags and bridge cover.
