Here for sale we have a Fender Sonoran SCE Electro-Acoustic guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Made in China in 2012, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Solid Spruce top, Laminated Mahogany back and sides, Maple neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard and matching bridge. A Bone saddle & nut are fitted, along with a set of Vintage-Style tuning machines with Aged White plastic buttons. A Fishman undersaddle piezo pickup is installed, and is wired to a Fishman Isys III onboard preamp with controls for master volume, 3-band EQ and an onboard tuner. The Maple neck plays well, with the 'C' Shape profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial yet articulate grip across the register. Certainly on the thicker side, there is plenty of character to the playing experience. The Gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25.3" scale, whilst the single-cutaway body design enhances access to the upper frets. The familiar lines of the dreadnought body shape are as comfortable in the arms as ever, and with two strap buttons, the instrument is ready for seated and standing positions. The acoustic voice of the Fender Sonoran SCE is rich and powerful, delivering a strong bass response thanks to the large body design along with open and clear mids and shimmering highs. The Laminated Mahogany back and sides add a real depth of character to the tone, whilst the Solid Spruce top projects very well. The onboard Fishman electronics faithfully convey the acoustic tone of the instrument while offering ample sonic control, as well as the added convenience of a built-in tuner. Any other markings are difficult to discern. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
