This guitar is a commission sale - if you have a high end guitar you are interested in selling, please contact us via our easy to find website - search: Sell Us Your Guitar. Here for sale we have a Commodore Korina Flying V in Gloss Natural finish. Made in Japan circa.1970’s, this guitar features a bolt-on neck construction comprising a Basswood with Korina veneer body, Maple neck and a 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with a set of Gold sealed tuning machines and a Gold Tune-O-Matic bridge with a ‘V’ string-through tailpiece. The pickups are a pair of Unbranded humbuckers, these are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a profile resembling a ‘C’ feeling slim and providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. This allows for more technical playing to be executed more ergonomically whilst still retaining the solid feel. The traditional 12" fingerboard radius strikes the perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and smooth lead lines, making for a truly authentic playing experience, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard adorned with 22 frets provides a rock-solid playing surface whilst also assisting with string bending and vibrato techniques. The pair of Unbranded humbuckers in this guitar offer warm and rich tones, exactly as you would expect from a classic looking instrument. The humbucker in the neck position is thick and creamy, saturating beautifully into full-bodied distortion as you crank the gain whilst turning the volume and tone controls provides a crisp, crystalline clean tone. The humbucker in the bridge position is a hotter pickup, helping you to cut through any mix with searing lead tones. The traditional V control layout keeps things feeling simple, with easy and intuitive tonal shaping.
