Made in Indonesia in 2022, this set-neck construction guitar consists of a Meranti body, a AAA Flamed Maple top, a Meranti neck, and a 22-fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Other appointments include a DLX Tune-O-Matic bridge, DLX Kluson-style Machine Heads, Stainless Steel frets, and two Tesla Opus-1 AlNiCo-5 humbuckers that are wired to independent volume and tone controls, as well as a three-way pickup selector. The Meranti neck plays well, with the 60's neck shape feeling comfortable in the hand, offering easy fretting in any register. The Gloss finish to the rear feels pleasant to the touch and aids easy transitions up and down the neck, whilst the Pau Ferro fingerboard with its 12" radius provides a durable and nicely smooth and consistent playing surface right the way up to the 22nd fret. The Tesla Opus-1 AlNiCo-5 humbuckers provide a warm, full-bodied tone with a balanced frequency response. They offer a rich, clear sound that is well-suited for a wide range of musical styles and handle distortion really well, providing a huge array of tones that are suitable for a wide range of musical styles and genres. When driving the amp, the tone is rich and crunchy, lending itself well to blues.
