Made in China in 2013, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a solid Cedar top, Laminated Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 19-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Rosewood bridge with a compensated saddle, 3-in-line tuners with white pearloid buttons, and a Fishman Isys III System with controls for the volume, bass, middle, treble and an on-board tuner. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a 'D' neck profile providing a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The Matte finish to the rear is pleasant to the touch and assists with navigation of the 25.3" scale. The nut width of 1.69" will feel familiar to classical players without putting off those who are more used to steel-string acoustics. Certainly, the strings are well-spaced for accurate fretting across the register. The Rosewood fingerboard is particularly dark in appearance and adds a sense of luxury to the playing experience whilst providing a smooth and durable playing surface. The cutaway makes accessing the higher register as easy as possible, perfect for chord​/​melody and solo playing. The acoustic voice of the CN-240SCE Thinline is gentle and warm, whilst delivering plenty of clarity for your melodic lines and solos. What the Thinline body takes away in volume, it makes up for in comfortability, handling both chordal and melodic playing styles with ease. Two indentations are present to the tip of the headstock, these have pierced the lacquer finish. The front face displays light scratching which is only visible under direct light, this is common with high gloss finishes. Neck: Overall very good condition. An indentation is present to the rear of the neck behind the 3rd fret, this has pierced through the lacquer finish and can be slightly felt in the playing position, A thumb print is present to the binding at the bass side of the 12th fret. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern. Body: Overall good condition. Light scratching is present to all surfaces of the body, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the front face lower bout. Light indentation is present to the front face bass side shoulder and to the front face bottom center of the lower bout. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use. There is plenty of material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform.
