Made in the USA in 2016, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a traditionally weight-relieved Mahogany body with Flamed Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret bound Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with Nickel​/​Chrome hardware including a set of Kluson Deluxe tuning machines, Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The pickups are a pair of Gibson humbuckers, with a '57 Classic in the neck and '57 Classic Plus in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the 50’s profile filling the hand nicely, feeling suitably traditional and substantial in the hand without being at all cumbersome. This creates a feeling of dependability whilst remaining articulate enough for technical playing. The traditional 12" fingerboard radius strikes the perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and smooth lead lines, making for a truly authentic yet refined Les Paul playing experience, whilst the Jumbo frets provide a rock-solid playing surface whilst also assisting with string bending and vibrato techniques. Luthier Report Weight: 9.45lbs Serial: 160005205 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. Very light checking of the lacquer is present to the rear face around the tuning machines, as is common with nitrocellulose finishes. Markings to the paint on the rear face display as 'smudge' marks when viewed under direct light. Light scratching to all aspects of the headstock is visible under direct light as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable to the front face. Neck: Overall excellent condition. Two light scratches to the fingerboard can be seen at frets 10-11. These can not be felt under the fingers. The fingerboard inlays display slight discoloration, perhaps most notable at the 5th fret. The rear of the neck displays very light scratching which is not felt under the thumb, and can only be seen under direct light. Body: Overall excellent condition. Scattered markings to the paint display as 'smudge' marks and can only be seen under direct light. A very light chip to the lacquer is present at the treble side rear edge near the control plate. Mild scratching to the side of the instrument is present near the jack socket. Very light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of past use. There is considerable material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5​/​16" socket) included. Hardware: Fully functional with mild signs of wear. The screws to the bass side of the bridge pickup display mild oxidation. The tailpiece shows light oxidation. The top of the truss rod cover shows a very light crack but remains secure. Some of the tuning buttons show light cracking but remain functional. Markings at either side of the nut are just the edge where the lacquer stops. Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
