Here for sale we have a ESP LTD EC-1000 Deluxe in Gloss Black finish. Built in Korea in 2008, this guitar features a Mahogany body, set-in Mahogany neck and a 24 XJ fret Rosewood fingerboard. The hardware consists of a Locking Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece and a set of LTD Locking tuning machines are featured. This guitar features a pair of EMG active humbuckers with a 81 in the bridge and a 60 in the neck, these are wired to a 3-way selector, bridge volume, neck volume, master tone control. The Mahogany neck is carved into a Thin ‘U’ profile that feels quick and smooth in the hand. It lends itself well to faster styles of playing whilst providing ample thickness for power chords. The 13.75” radius provides maximum hand comfort for chords playing the lower register, whilst allowing greater speed and cleaner string bending as the player moves up the neck, great for more technically demanding playing styles. The single cutaway body design allows for unobstructed access to the higher register, whilst generous body contours provide comfort when playing in a seated position. The active EMG 81 and 60 provide tones that are thick and full. The 60 in the neck offers boosted mids, big lows and fat highs, and is perfect for rock and metal lead tones. The 81 in the bridge position is EMG's most popular pickup, providing highly detailed intensity that will help your rhythm tones slice through even the densest of mixes. The independent volume controls and master tone control keep things feeling nice and straightforward, making a great ‘Plug in and play’ instrument. Luthier Report Our ID: 119022579962 Weight: 9.25lbs Serial Number: R0810801 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates consistent moderate scratching causing hazing of the finish. This is most notable beside the D & G machine heads. Neck: Overall very good condition, the fingerboard and treble side binding demonstrate a light indentation between the second and third fret. The rear of the neck demonstrates a moderate indentation by the 2nd fret on the bass side, which can be felt under the thumb. This does not affect the overall playability of the instrument. Body: Overall very good condition, a notable chip is apparent to the rear treble side edge of the lower bout which cracks the surrounding finish and reveals the wood beneath. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to moderate scratching, causing a hazing of the finish under direct lighting to the front face in places, this is most noticeable around the shoulder strap button. Condition of Frets: The fret demonstrates light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included. Hardware: Fully functional with moderate signs of wear. The nut has been replaced for an aftermarket intonated nut. The fit and finish is not perfect with a small gap on the bass side of the nut. This does not negatively affect intonation or stability. Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
