Here for sale we have a Fender Thinline Telecaster in Natural Gloss finish. Made in the USA in 1998, this guitar features a bolt-on semi hollow construction comprising an Ash body, a Maple neck and a 21 Narrow fret Maple fingerboard. The hardware consists of a Chrome 6-Saddle String-Through-Body hardtail bridge and a set of Fender tuning machines. A pair of Fender American Standard pickups are installed and are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume and master tone with Fender Delta Tone system. The Satin finished Maple neck plays very well, with the 'C' shape profile which fills the hand nicely whilst remaining slim enough for fast articulate lines and solos. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with the 9.5" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. The Medium-jumbo frets assist with string bending and vibrato techniques. Acoustically this guitar has excellent resonance, with a nicely loud and airy tone. The Fender Singlecoil in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Singlecoil in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. The volume and tone controls are very responsive, offering comprehensive control of your tone right at your fingertips. Neck: Overall excellent condition, the "skunk stripe" to the rear of the neck can be slightly felt under the thumb, with some finish cracking. This is not of structural concern. Body: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the body. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability.
