Here for sale we have a modified Fender American Performer Stratocaster in Arctic White finish. Made in the USA in 2018, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Nickel​/​Chrome hardware is fitted including a vintage-style 6-point tremolo bridge with upgrade block saddles and Fender ClassicGear split-post tuning machines. The trio of upgrade single-coil pickups have been upgraded to a set of Fender Gen 4 Noiseless Stratocaster single-coils, which are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck​/​middle tone and bridge tone controls, with a push​/​pull function one the bridge tone which adds the neck pickup in parallel in positions 1 & 2. The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile offering a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. Moderately-sized, the Modern 'C' profile has such a wide appeal because it is thick enough to sustain a firm grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing and lead lines. The Satin finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale, whilst the familiar double cutaway design of the Stratocaster enhances access to the upper frets. The Rosewood of the fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 9.5" radius and Jumbo frets is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The trio of Fender Gen 4 Noiseless Stratocaster single-coil pickups installed in this guitar deliver impressively authentic Strat tones with the refinement of Fender's noiseless technology. Two single-coils are stacked on top of each other in the pickup, with the top coil being the sound source and the lower coil taking responsibility for noise attenuation. used in conjunction with staggered Alnico V pole pieces, the Noiseless pickup system produces the characteristic tone of the single-coil without the 60 cycle hum that is associated with traditional single-coils. The Gen 4 version also comes with shielded wiring which further recuses noise. With the addition of the push​/​pull tone control, this guitar delivers real Fender tonal character with added modern practicality and convenience. Luthier Report Our ID: 128022582070 Weight: 8lbs Serial: US18063322 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Very light scuffing to the top edge is visible under close scrutiny. A very light scratch mark which does not pierce the finish is present to the centre of the rear face. It is difficult to discern any other markings to the headstock. Neck: Overall excellent condition. A very light indentation to the rear of the neck can be felt under the thumb at the bass side behind fret 9. Very light scratching to the fingerboard is visible under close scrutiny, more notably in the upper register. This does not impact playability. Any other markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern. Body: Overall very good condition. A mild indentation to the rear face is present at the bass side horn lightly pierces the finish and exposes the wood. Light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light near the jack socket. Mild discoloration of the finish is consistent across the body, but is most notable inside the cutaways and at the neck heel. This discoloration is only noticeable under close scrutiny. The pickguard shows milder scratching consistent with playwear. Condition of Frets: This instrument has had a fret level and recrown to ensure the best playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1​/​8" hex) not included. Hardware: Fully functional with mild signs of wear, most notably oxidation to the bridge plate and pickup pole pieces. The saddles have been upgraded to block saddles.
