Here for sale we have an Ibanez RG350DX in White finish. Made in Indonesia in 2008, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, Maple neck and a 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including an Ibanez Edge lll double-locking Tremolo system and sealed tuning machines. Three Ibanez pickups are installed in an HSH configuration , with an INF4 humbucker in the bridge, INFS single-coil in the middle and an INF3 humbucker in the neck. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Wizard ll profile feeling slim and articulate, and allowing for fast and easy navigation up and down the neck. The 15.75” radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register, and with the Jumbo frets is practical for string bending and vibrato techniques. The double cutaway body design is generous, and with Ibanez' 'All Access Neck Joint' (AANJ) allowing unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those fast lead lines. The controls are kept simple, and are well set out for adjustments while playing. The Ibanez pickups installed in this guitar have a modern voice, with loud and raucous tones in neck and bridge position from the humbuckers, whilst the single coil in the middle provides great bite and snap, delivering plenty of chime and articulation. The in-between positions on the 5-way switch activates the middle pickup along with the innermost coil of the humbucker, making for a more balanced sound between the two pickups which works very well for clean sounds. The controls feel nicely responsive, allowing you to dial in the perfect tone right on your guitar. Luthier Report Our ID: 1210923012901 Weight: 8.15lbs Serial: I080137126 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall good condition. The headstock has been repaired to a professional standard in-house. The edges of the headstock display indentations, some of which have chipped the finish away. This is most notable at the tip and at the treble side rear where it would make contact with a hanger. Light scratching of the front face is visible under direct light. Neck: Overall very good condition. Light indentations to the rear of the neck can be slightly felt behind the 9th-13th frets but do not impact the overall playability of the instrument. The fingerboard shows very light indentation when viewed under close scrutiny. The binding on both sides shows light discoloration in places, as well as cracking beside the frets. This is common with an instrument of this age as the binding shrinks over time. The satin finish to the rear of the neck has polished to a light gloss through regular use. Body: Overall good condition. Patches of finish repair are apparent around all sides of the bottom edge. These have aged over time to an off white, which contrasts with the original finish. This is most notable at the treble side edge near the controls. The finish repairs remain stable. Light finish cracking is apparent at either side of the neck pocket. This has been tested and presents no structural concern. The pickguard has aged to a yellow colour over time, but is consistent across the entire pickguard. Light to mild scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. Not truss rod tool included (hex 4mm) Hardware: Overall fair condition. The tremolo arm socket is damaged, meaning that if a tremolo arm were inserted it could not be tightened. The pressure pads for the locking nut and truss rod cover are missing. All of the metal hardware displays light to mild signs of oxidation, most prominent to the string locking screws on the bridge. Tremolo arm not included. Structural: No concerns or issues to note. Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height. Strings on Guitar - 9-42 This guitar demonstrates very light fret noise which is not apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes.
