Believed to be made in Germany, this guitar features a solid wood body, a Rosewood fingerboard, white position dots and frets, tortoise shell binding, vintage open-gear tuners, and a single-coil pickup that is wired to a master volume and a master tone. The flat trapezoid neck is designed for the guitar to be placed on the player's lap, with the consistent thickness helping to keep the guitar in place when being played, whilst the body is small and easily manageable. This allows you to pick each string with ease, even in the rather unconventional playing position that this instrument requires. The single-coil pickup that has been installed provides a bright, snappy tone that is perfect for slide playing, with plenty of sweep in the tone control to allow the player to roll off some of the harshness and create smoother, wailing solo lines. Our ID: 119022580001 Weight: 4.6lbs Serial: N​/​A Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall excellent condition, the waterslide logo has a small portion missing. It is difficult to discern any other markings to the headstock. Neck: Overall very good condition, the sides demonstrate some indentation in the middle register which do not pierce the finish. Due to the pearloid, it is difficult to discern these indentations unless under direct lighting at certain angles. Body: Overall very good condition, the bottom edge and sides demonstrate some paint transfer and scuffing that we have been unable to remove through regular cleaning. The felt to the rear of the instrument is peeling towards the bottom edge, revealing glue residue and wood beneath. Condition of Frets: N​/​A Current Set Up: Truss Rod: N​/​A Hardware: Fully functional with notable signs of wear to the tuning machines. They are very stiff but do turn and hold pitch.
