Built in China in 2008, this amp takes advantage of the acclaimed VOX Valve Reactor circuit, the AC30VR features genuine tube tone reminiscent of vintage VOX amplifiers. Add in the additional high gain channel and the on-board digital reverb, the AC30VR is well-equipped for any stage or studio. “Introduced at the Winter 2010 NAMM Music Convention in Anaheim CA, the AC30VR is a lower cost alternative to the all tube AC-30CC2 and AC30C2 amps also offered by Vox. The analog preamp circuitry of the AC30VR has two channels. The Normal or "clean" channel has Volume, Treble and Bass controls. The Overdrive channel has Gain, Volume, Bass, Middle, and Treble controls along with a dual gain overdrive Style push button switch. The Master section features a Tone Cut control, a spring delay based Reverb control, and a Master Volume control. The power amp utilizes the patented Vox VR one watt tube output circuit operating in Class A mode supplying signal to a 30 watt solid state power amp.
