Here for sale we have a Hagstrom Ultra Max Electric Guitar in Fall Sky Satin finish. Made in China in 2022, this set-neck constructed guitar features a Mahogany body with a Flame Maple top, a Mahogany 'Slim D' profile neck, and a 22-fret Resinator fingerboard. Other appointments include a Longtravel T-O-M bridge, Hagstrom Stop Tailpiece, 6 individual brass tailpieces, Hagstrom Design 15:1 tuners, and a set of Custom 60 AlNiCo Humbucker pickups. The pickups are wired to two independent volume controls, a master tone with a push​/​pull coil split, and a three-way pickup selector. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a slim 'D' profile that sits comfortably in the hand and provides easy reach in all registers. The neck is broad enough to provide a substantial grip for chords whilst remaining slim enough for lead lines and articulate playing. The Resinator (Vacuum bonded Ply) fingerboard is comfortable under the fingers, and with it's 15" radius provides a smooth and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. The single cutaway body design offers improved access to the upper frets, whilst the controls are set out within easy reach without intruding on the playing experience. Sonically, the Ultra Max covers a lot of bases. The neck pickup is round and creamy, delivering both power and clarity for your solo tones, The bridge is brighter and offers an excellent platform for rock rhythm sounds. The push​/​pull tone control offers the ability to split the coils in both pickups, allowing you to achieve a twangier single-coil sound. This is a very versatile guitar with serious style and at a wallet-friendly price point. Our ID: 125032588480 Weight: 8lbs Serial: G22040707 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall Very Good Condition. There are light scratch marks and scuffs to the front face of the headstock, with the finish starting to wear to a gloss on the bass side edge. The top edge displays some light scuff marks. Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck are difficult to discern. Body: Overall very good condition. The front face of the body is in excellent condition with only some very slight scratches located in between the pickups. The rear face displays heavier signs of use with scuff marks, scratches and bucklerash consistent with moderate use. The finish at lower edge of the rear face has begun to wear to a gloss, as have the edges. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate signs of use with denting and flattening of the crown, particular on frets 1-7, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss Rod tool (3mm Hex) not included.
