Here for sale we have a ESP LTD EC-1000 Deluxe in Satin Black finish. Built in Korea in 2010, this guitar features a Mahogany body, set-in Mahogany neck and a 24 XJ fret Rosewood fingerboard. The hardware consists of a Locking Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece and a set of LTD Locking tuning machines are featured. This guitar features a pair of EMG active humbuckers with a 81 in the bridge and a 60 in the neck, these are wired to a 3-way selector, bridge volume, neck volume, master tone control. The Mahogany neck is carved into a Thin ‘U’ profile that feels quick and smooth in the hand. It lends itself well to faster styles of playing whilst providing ample thickness for power chords. The 13.75” radius provides maximum hand comfort for chords playing the lower register, whilst allowing greater speed and cleaner string bending as the player moves up the neck, great for more technically demanding playing styles. The single cutaway body design allows for unobstructed access to the higher register, whilst generous body contours provide comfort when playing in a seated position. The active EMG 81 and 60 provide tones that are thick and full. The 60 in the neck offers boosted mids, big lows and fat highs, and is perfect for rock and metal lead tones. The 81 in the bridge position is EMG's most popular pickup, providing highly detailed intensity that will help your rhythm tones slice through even the densest of mixes. The independent volume controls and master tone control keep things feeling nice and straightforward, making a great ‘Plug in and play’ instrument. Our ID: 130032589651 Weight: 8lbs Serial: W10101561 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall excellent condition. The top edge demonstrates light scuffing and chipping. Neck: Overall excellent condition. The rear of the neck displays very light scratching and an extremely small indentation behind the 7th fret which cannot be felt underhand. Body: Overall very good condition. The body displays slightly more significant signs of use. There is an indentation around 2cm long on the lower bout of the front face which does not break the finish, other smaller indentations can be found on the top which are much smaller, none of which break the finish. Light scratching can be seen beneath the bridge and tailpiece. The bass side of the rear edge on the lower bout demonstrates some scuffs and chipping which does break the finish exposing the wood beneath. The rear face demonstrates a number of small indentations, none of which break the finish. The satin finish shows signs of wear on all faces, particularly on the rear face where some discoloration is evident to the center of the body. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with some denting and flattening of the crown, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm Hex) not included. Hardware: Fully functional. The gold hardware is beginning to discolour and tarnish. Tooling marks are evident on the bridge adjustment posts. Structural: No structural concerns to note.
