Godin Artisan ST 2 Grey Sparkle 1990 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Godin Artisan 2 in Grey Sparkle finish. Made in Canada in 1990, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Limewood body, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. A Chrome 6-point tremolo bridge is fitted, along with Nickel Schaller tuning machines. A pair of Godin/Schaller stacked humbucking pickups are installed along with a Chapman single-coil in the bridge position, and wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume and tone controls. The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile that might be described as a shallow rounded 'C' shape. The neck certainly feels nice and slim, and lends itself well to more technical styles of playing without sacrificing the character of the playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth and durable playing surface right the way up the register. The 10" radius is flat enough for articulate lead lines and string bending whilst remaining round enough to be comfortable when chord playing. The pair of Godin/Schaller stacked humbucking pickups deliver a full-throttle, high output sound in all positions, perfect for the technical player looking for a powerful lead tone. The neck position is round and thick, ensuring that your solos have enough grunt to cut through the mix. The middle pickup is excellent for funky rhythm sounds, whilst the Chapman in the bridge position provides a traditional single-coil tonality that is favoured by many.
