Made in China, this guitar features an all solid construction comprising a Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is also fitted with Schaller ‘Three on a Plate’ tuning machines. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a slim profile that feels slender whilst retaining the sturdy and robust character you would expect from a gypsy jazz style guitar. The 14" radius lends itself to chordal playing and finger picking styles of playing in any register, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth playing experience under the fingers. The cutaway body shape feels comfortable in the arms providing a connected feeling when playing and also provides unobstructed access to the higher frets. The voice of this instrument is rich and defined, with a bright and saturated low end, focussed midrange and melodic high frequencies. The Spruce top provides a wide dynamic range that feels sensitive to the player's touch. Playing gently will give you the warm mellow tones needed for those quiet moments, whereas putting some snap and power behind your right hand rewards you with the powerful booming tones this guitar is capable of. Our ID: 107042591220 Weight: 4.15lbs Serial: 11078 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top edge and front face both demonstrate light scratching and scuffing. This is only visible under direct lighting at certain angles. Neck: Overall excellent condition, by the 15th fret on the fingerboard the grain is wider than earlier in the neck, which gives the appearance of potential cracking​/​splitting of the fingerboard. This is not the case and the fingerboard remains entirely intact. Body: Overall very good condition, all aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching and very light indentation. This is most notable to the treble side of the bridge. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included. Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear. The bridge "guides" and either end of the bridge have been re-glued previously, with height being removed from the bass side guide but not the treble side. Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
