Made in China in 2022, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a solid Western Red Cedar top, laminated Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 19-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include a dovetail neck joint, a Bone nut and saddle, and a Fishman Presys Blend preamp with onboard side-mounted controls. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the ‘C’ profile that offers comfortable playability in all registers. The 1.875" nut width is traditional for classical guitar and provides great string separation for accurate fretting. The Ebony fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, and with its traditional flat radius is perfect for the classical musician, allowing for smooth and accurate playing across the fingerboard. The voice of this guitar is warm and detailed, with the Laminated Rosewood back and sides producing a punchy and responsive midrange whilst also providing crisp high end voicings and a rounded low end. The Solid Western Red Cedar top projects very well, and offers a wide dynamic range that feels very sensitive to the player's touch thanks to the lattice bracing.
