Here for sale we have a Fender Modern Player Jaguar Electric Bass in Black finish. Made in China in 2013, this bolt-on constructed bass consists of a Koto body, a Maple neck, and a 20-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a 4-Saddle Vintage-Style bridge with brass saddles, Nickel​/​Chrome hardware, Open-Gear tuners, and a PJ set of Modern Player pickups that are wired to independent pickup volume controls and a master tone control. The Maple neck plays very well, with a 'C' profile that feels comfortable in the hand and provides a smooth and precise playing experience without being too thin. The 9.5" radius provides a modern playing feel allowing the hand to glide effortlessly across the fingerboard. This combined with the Maple fingerboard and gloss finish to the rear of the neck makes for a luxurious playing experience. The Modern Player series P & J pickups provide plenty of power and have a real articulate punchy quality to them. The Precision pickup provides a deep, thumping sound and more of a snarl provided from the Jazz pickup. The ability to control the amount of volume from each pickup provides the player with an exceptional amount of tons to choose from. This is a great bass with plenty of versatility and a really comfortable feel. A mild chip to the finish is present to the treble side front face of the headstock, this has pierced the finish exposing the wood beneath. All other aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use. Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use. Body: Overall very good condition. Moderate indentations are present to the bass side lower bout front face, these have slightly pierced through the finish exposing the wood beneath. Light indentations are present to all aspects of the body, these have not broken through the finish. Light scratching is present to all aspects of the body, these can be seen under direct light. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (3​/​16" hex) not included. Hardware: Overall good condition. Protective film is present to the scratchplate, this has stuck to the scratchplate and if removed will leave markings.
