Here for sale we have a Fender American Standard Stratocaster in Black finish. Made in the USA in 2009, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, a Maple neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. The hardware featured on this guitar consists of a 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge and a set of Fender Deluxe Staggered tuning machines.Two Tex-Mex single-coil pickups are installed plus a Fender Diamondback humbucker, these are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck and middle tone controls. The Satin Maple neck plays very well, with the Modern ‘C’ profile sitting very comfortably in the hand and promotes ergonomic hand positioning, feeling smooth whilst providing an articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and offers a tactile and durable playing surface, with the 9.5" radius working in conjunction with the Medium Jumbo frets to produce an authentically vintage playing experience, allowing for vibrato techniques and complex chordings to be played with ease. TheTex-Mex Single-Coils pickups provide all the classic Stratocaster tones that you coil wish for. The Diamondback bridge pickup is nice and hot, and can handle a pretty serious amount of gain when called upon. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone. The middle pickup produces bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The neck pickup has rounded creamer tones great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz style lines, whilst also handling higher gain settings masterfully, offering plenty of room for tonal sculpting. Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates light indentation throughout the register which can only be seen under direct lighting at certain angles. These markings can be very slightly felt under the thumb but do not affect the overall playability of the instrument. The fingerboard demonstrates light scratching throughout, with some notable pick wear at the end of the fingerboard which does not affect playability and cannot be felt under the string. Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates consistent moderate scratching to the middle of the lower bout which causes a hazing of the finish. Light scratching and light indentation is apparent throughout the body, visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. Consistent scratching to the middle of the rear face has caused a hazing of the finish, likely buckle rash. Condition of Frets: The frets have been levelled and re-crowned to ensure improved playability. There is moderate material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional.
