Here for sale we have a Orville Les Paul Junior in Vintage Sunburst finish. Made in Japan Circa. 1980s this guitar was a part of the lawsuit era of Japanese guitars. This guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. A wraparound 'SG Tailpiece’ is fitted, along with a set of aftermarket Grover tuners. A singleHouse of Tone P90 pickup is installed in the bridge position, and is wired to a master volume and master tone control. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Rounded profile sitting very comfortably in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The 1.700” nut width retains the traditional Les Paul string spacing, meaning that you are less likely to ‘fall off’ the board during string bending and vibrato techniques. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, whilst its 12” radius ensures a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. The House of Tone P-90 pickup installed in the bridge position of this guitar delivers a thick and full throaty tone, with a warm low end and driving midrange that is complimented well by crisp and cutting highs. The pickup is nice and bright, perfect for searing rhythm tones that easily cut through the mix to put your playing front and centre. The pickup is fantastic for pushing the front end of an amplifier, whilst offering excellent dynamic control. The simple control layout is not intrusive to the playing experience and offers comprehensive control of your tone; feeling highly interactive and responding very well to subtle changes. Our ID: 115042593170 Weight: 7.6lbs Serial: 512025 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. Screw holes and indentations are present to the rear of the headstock, these are from previous tuning machines. Light chipping and scuffing is present to the top edge of the headstock, the paint to the bass side tip slightly exposes the wood beneath. All aspects of the headstock display light scratching which can only be seen under direct light as is common with high gloss finishes. Neck: Overall very good condition. Very light indentation is present to the rear of the neck behind the 12th fret, these can only be seen under direct light and can slightly be felt in the playing position. All other aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use. Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body display light to mild scratching and indentations. The most noticeable indentations can be seen to the rear face near the strap button, this has pierced through the lacquer but has not exposed the wood beneath. Another noticeable indentations can be seen to the treble side edge near the waist, this has pierced through the finish exposing the wood beneath. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully Functional. Truss Rod Tool (4mm hex) not Included. Hardware: Overall good condition. The original bridge has been replaced by a previous owner with a stop bar tailpiece labelled 'SG Tailpiece' the original bridge is not included. The original tuning machines have been replaced with a set of Grovers, the original tuning machines are not included. Structural: No concerns or issues to note. Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height. Strings on Guitar - 10-46 Electrics: Fully functional. The original wiring loom has been replaced with a set of CTS pots and a Orange Drop capacitor.
