Here for sale we have an Ibanez AF55 inTobacco Flat finish. Made in China in 2015, this guitar features a Linden body, Nyatoh neck and 20 fret Bound Rosewood fretboard. Other accompaniments include a Gibraltar Performer bridge and VT06 tailpiece. The pickups installed in this guitar are a pair of Ibanez Infinity R humbuckers which are wired to a master volume and tone knobs and a 3-way pickup selector. The Nyatoh neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Artcore profile filling the hand nicely while still feeling thin making efficient chordal transitions. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, with its 12” radius allowing for being and vibrato techniques. The Singlecutaway provides full access to the upper registers. The hollow body construction of the instrument provides a nicely open and airy tone which is dynamically responsive to the player's touch. The Infinity R humbuckers deliver a thick and full-bodied voicing, with a rich low end, solid midrange and a clear, articulate top end. The classic control layout offers ease of use and a broad sweep of both volume and tone to really help you accurately dial in your desired tones. Our ID: 1220823095482 Weight: 5.8lbs Serial: S15051500 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition, some small screw holes are apparent to the rear of the headstock where the previous machine heads have been removed and replaced. Neck: Overall very good condition, a previous partial neck break is apparent with two cracks running from the corners of the nut down the neck approximately half way to the first fret. This has been glued but has not had finish touch up. Body: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the body. Condition of Frets: Some fret ends have lifted but appeared to have been previously secured and levelled, meaning they will not move and do not affect playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included. Hardware: Fully functional with very light signs of wear. The tuning machines have been replaced. Structural: No concerns or issues to note. Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.75mm - Bass 2mm Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height. Strings on Guitar - 10-46 When bending the high E above a full step on the 8th and 9th frets, the note will choke out. Electrics: Fully functional.
