Made in 2007, this set-neck construction guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a carved Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Wilkinson Deluxe tuners, a Tune-O-Matic bridge, and a set of Wilkinson P-90 pickups that are wired to a master volume, master tone, a 'Roll Control', and a three-way pickup selector. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the classic Vintage ‘Full C’ profile offering ergonomic thumb positioning and easy fretting up and down the neck. The medium frets and 12" radius provide a robust and smooth playing experience all across the fingerboard, and enhance string bending and vibrato techniques. The single cutaway body design allows the player to access the higher register with ease, allowing for fast lead lines without any obstruction. The Wilkinson P-90 pickups offer a full-bodied thick tone with plenty of warmth and roundness in the neck position. The middle position with its out of phase tone sounds punchy, with driving mids along with crisp and clear highs making for a unique and diverse tone. The bridge position provides open sustain and broad harmonic clarity, making chords sound crystalline and clear. The master volume and tone offer simplicity, whilst the 'Roll Control' gives the player the option to use the pickups as single coils or to combine them to make a humbucker, or even find a middle ground that suits them best. Our ID: 122092448565 Weight: 7.35lbs Serial: 007609 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition, chipping is apparent to both corners of the top of the headstock. These reveal the wood beneath, however these have been stained black by the previous owner to disguise the damage somewhat. Neck: Overall very good condition, a finish crack is apparent to the bass side edge of the fingerboard near to the body. This does not flex and is structurally sound, not affecting the wood beneath. The rear of the neck demonstrates some very light scratching and scuffing that cannot be felt under the thumb in playing position. Body: Overall very good condition, some finish imperfections are apparent to the front face, most notably surrounding the switch, running down the pickups a very slight discoloration is apparent. The bass side of the fingerboard extension demonstrates some indentation that is visible under the clear coat but cannot be felt under the finger. All aspects of the body demonstrate very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Strings on Guitar - 10-46 This guitar demonstrates mild fret noise which is mildly apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes.
