Made in the USA in 2020, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Lutz Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, a Tropical Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include V-Class bracing, Non-figured Koa binding, a Weathered Brown pickguard, 'Abalone Reflections' inlays, and a Taylor Expression System 2 pickup system and controls. The Tropical Mahogany neck plays very well, with a 'D' profile that fills the hand, feeling thick enough to inspire confidence and feel dependable without being cumbersome. The West African Crelicam Ebony fingerboard feels smooth to the touch, and with the 14" radius provides a playing surface capable of a wide variety of playing styles, whilst fretting is a breezy and sumptuous affair in any register. The Grand Auditorium body design feels great in both seated and standing positions, making this guitar great for long durations of playing. The voice of this guitar is warm and detailed, with the Indian Rosewood back and sides producing a punchy and responsive midrange. The Lutz Spruce top provides a balanced, seasoned tone with plenty of low end power and warm detail. The understated high end of this guitar remains detailed but subtle, adding unique character to this instrument. This guitar features a V-Class Bracing design which results in more flexibility for the top to resonate, delivering more volume and a well-defined, full tone. The Taylor Expression System 2 captures the natural voice of the instrument, whilst providing the user to sculpt their desired sound all from the instrument. Our ID: 103052597741 Weight: 4.85lbs Serial: 1207280009 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates light scratching visible under direct lighting at certain angles. The top edge demonstrates light indentation, with one of these indentations piercing the finish to the rear edge. The bass side of the headstock where it would contact a hanger demonstrates moderate indentation piercing the finish. Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates several notable indentations in the upper register behind the 9th fret. This can be felt under the thumb in playing position and chips the finish. Further light indentation is apparent throughout the register which can only slightly be felt under the thumb in playing position. It is difficult to discern any markings to the fingerboard against the natural grain. Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates consistent light indentation to the lower bout, most concentrated to the treble side edge. Light yet consistent scratching is apparent either side of the soundhole, with the treble side of the soundhole wearing through the finish in a small patch. Some light scratching is apparent to the sides, with the most notable of these on the treble side waist. Both front and rear edges demonstrate infrequent light indentation, two of these piercing the finish. The first to the front edge treble side waist and the second to the rear face bottom edge. The rear face demonstrates some light scratching and indentation visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. This is most notable to the center of the face consistent with buckle rash. ` Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with some indentation in the early register quickly improving as you move up the neck. This does not affect playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1​/​4" socket) not included.
