Here for sale we have a Chapman ML3 Pro Bea in Smoke finish. Made in Korea in 2018, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body with a Flamed Maple top, Padauk neck and 22 fret Ebony fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted, including a Wilkinson synchronized tremolo bridge and Hipshot Grip-Lock open geared tuning machines. A Chapman Henchman Mini Rail humbucker is installed in the neck position and with a Chapman Henchman humbucker in the bridge position. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls. The Padauk neck plays very well, with the C Shape profile feeling nice and precise without being too thin. This ensures a playing experience which is highly practical for a wide range of styles and techniques, without being devoid of character as some thin necks can be. The Padauk neck and Ebony fingerboard provide a seriously premium feel in the hand, and along with the luminous side dot fret markers create a sense of luxury for the player. The set-through construction, sculpted lower horn and heel all work together to ensure that access to the upper frets is completely unrestricted. The pair of Chapman pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, just as you would expect. The Chapman Henchman Mini Rail in the neck position delivers all of the articulation and clarity for your lead and solo tones. The Chapman Henchman in the bridge is brighter, and saturates into a searing distortion tone which is perfect for heavy riffing and rhythm parts. Whilst clearly aimed at the modern metal player, these pickups also deliver sparkling clean sounds for those quieter passages in the set. The controls offer the player a wide variety of tones to explore.
