Here for sale we have a Washburn HB-30 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Cherry Red finish. Made in Korea, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Laminated Maple body, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Tune-O-Matic bridge, a Stopbar tailpiece, Grover tuners, and a set of humbucking pickups that are wired to independent volume control, independent tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a rather slender profile that might be described as a 'D' shape thanks to the flattened area to the centre. This encourages ergonomic thumb positioning for a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12" radius is practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles. The pair of humbucking pickups deliver thick and full-bodied tones, well suited to a wide range of playing styles and genres. The semi-hollow construction provides an open and airy tone with a nicely sensitive dynamic range. The neck position is warm and round, with plenty of power to push your lead and solo tones to the front of the mix. The bridge position is of course brighter, and can handle a surprising amount of gain to produce a searing raw tone which is great for anything from blues to hard rock.
