Here for sale we have an ESP LTD MH-1000NT electric guitar in See Thru Blue finish. Made in Korea in 2015, this guitar features a set-thru construction comprising a Mahogany body with Quilted Maple top, Maple neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Black Chrome hardware is fitted including a string-through-body TonePros TOM-style bridge and LTD locking tuning machines. A pair of Seymour Duncan passive humbucking pickups are installed, with a '59 in the neck and JB in the bridge. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume & master tone controls. The Maple neck plays exceptionally well, with the Thin 'U' profile delivering a razor-sharp and precise playing experience across the register. Whilst certainly on the slimmer side, the neck stops short of feeling brittle or characterless, and provides a confidence-inspiring grip when chord playing and riffing. The set-through construction works in conjunction with the generous cutaways and contours to ensure a supremely comfortable playing experience with unrestricted access to the upper register. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 16" radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques. When paired with the extra jumbo frets, the neck is well equipped for all manner of shred lines and guitar acrobatics. The pair of Seymour Duncan passive humbucking pickups installed in this guitar are a time-tested combination. The '59 & JB work together to cover a lot of sonic ground; from searing distortion tones in the bridge to round, powerful solo lines from the neck. The JB in the bridge can handle a serious amount of gain for saturated rock and metal rhythm tones. The '59 in the neck delivers a powerful output which will easily blast your solo tones to the front of the mix. Whilst the controls are kept relatively simple, the 5-way switching provides a wide variety of sounds, splitting the pickups into single-coil modes which work nicely for clean tones. The tip demonstrates a small chip to the finish which lightly exposes the wood beneath. Very light indentations to the treble side top edge of the headstock can only be seen under direct light & close scrutiny. Very light scratching to all aspects of the headstock is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable to the bass side edge consistent with the use of a string winder. Neck: Overall excellent condition. Very light scratching to the rear of the neck can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Any other markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern. Body: Overall excellent condition. A very light indentation and scratch are present to the front face near the string ferrules. Very light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable to the rear face lower bout. Any other markings are difficult to discern. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability.
