Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1962 ES-335 Sixties Cherry 2022

Here for sale we have a Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1962 ES-335 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Sixties Cherry finish. Made in China in 2022, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a 5-ply Laminated Maple body, a one-piece Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Laurel fingerboard. Other appointments include Epiphone Deluxe tuners with double ring buttons, a Maestro Vibrola tailpiece, and a pair of Gibson Burstbucker pickups. These pickups are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. The wiring also includes CTS Potentiometers and Mallory Capacitors. The Mahogany neck plays well, with the Rounded ‘C’ profile feeling substantial yet comfortable in the hand and offering easy fretting in any register. The Gloss finish to the rear feels pleasant to the touch and aids easy transitions up and down the neck, whilst the 12” Laurel fingerboard and Medium Jumbo frets provide a robust playing experience that feels rock solid under the fingers, enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The semi-hollow construction makes this guitar easy on the shoulders on long gigs, and the smooth lines of the body ensure that this is a comfortable guitar to play in either standing or seated positions. Amplified, the pair of Gibson Burstbucker humbuckers work in conjunction with the semi-hollow construction to deliver the full and thick sounds that we all expect from such pickups. The guitar resonates beautifully, filling out the sound with a deep and rich character. The neck pickup is warm and round, and can handle plenty of gain meaning you can achieve anything from jazzy lines through to soaring rock and blues solo tones. The bridge pickup is hotter, driving the front end of an amp with ease and producing the bright, biting tones that cut right through the mix to put your playing front and centre. The traditional dual humbucker control layout feels very responsive, allowing you to explore a wide tonal palette right on the instrument.
