Made in Mexico in 2022, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Roasted Maple neck and 22 fret fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Chrome hardware including 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge and Fender Standard Sealed tuning machines. The pickups are installed in a HSS configuration with a Shawbucker in the bridge and a pair of Pure Vintage ‘65 Strat single coils These are wired to a 5-Position Blade, Master Volume, 2 x Tones, Push​/​Pull Pot Coil Split. The satin finish Roasted Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Modern 'C' profile allowing for easy fretting in any register and lending itself well to a wide variety of styles. The Roasted Maple fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 12” radius offers a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines. Medium jumbo frets enhance vibrato and string bending techniques whilst also providing a rock-solid and smooth playing experience without sacrificing that conventional Fender feel. The pair of Fender Pure Vintage '65 Strat Single-Coil pickups deliver classic Stratocaster tones with a modern edge for the contemporary player. A bell-like high end is complemented well by punchy mids and robust low frequencies, with crisp articulation in all positions. The 5-way blade switch provides plenty of versatility, with an array of sounds that make it clear why the Stratocaster has been a mainstay of electric guitar for almost 70 years.
